California, unlike other states, there is no ONE SINGLE agency issuing Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW/CCL) license. Rather, there are hundreds of police agencies and sheriffs departments and each can issue a CCW and set their own policies. Some agencies, have a "approved list of vendors" or CCW instructors. What this means is that these police agencies will ONLY accept certificates of completion from the list they provide you with. Please be sure that you know this BEFORE signing up for our course(s).

At Nationwide CCW, our instructor is NRA certified CCW and CA DOJ certified instructor, has over 30 years of experience in security field, police academy graduate with additional training from various law enforcement agencies. This means you will get your CCW training by an actual CCW INSTRUCTOR!

If the agency you are applying for only requires you to meet the California requirements, than we you can procced with signing up for one of our classes or call us to confirm, OR if the agencies applying for, REQUIRES you to take training from a "approved list of vendors/instructors", we are on the approved list of the following departments:
