​This CCW Course satisfies the NEW California (SB2) 16 hour training requirements as set pursuant to the standards in PC 26165, which includes a qualification with your the firearm(s) you wish to place on your CCW permit. This is a two consecutive day course (Wednesday + Thursday) 8AM - 5PM ​Day will be displayed on the checkout calendar only

What to Bring

Day one

  • Your ID

  • Holster for each firearm (if your agency requires it, not required for LAPD, LASD)

  • Your firearm(s) (leave it in the car until instructed to retrieve)

  • NO AMMUNITION in class.

  • Gate parking is on a first come first serve basis, and PLEASE drive your smaller cars as we have limited parking, large cars or trucks may be asked to park on public roads. 

  • Be ON TIME. If you cant be here by 8 AM, you will have to reschedule and rescheduling fee applies. Because your taking a seat away from one else for future class.

Day two

  • Your ID

  • AT LEAST 2 magazine or speed loaders

  • Your firearm(s). (Whatever you want to qualify with to have on your permit.

  • AMMUNITION.

  • Do to weather conditions, shooting proficiency maybe postponed to another day (if raining).

  • AT LEAST 2 magazine or speed loaders (revolver speed loaders)

Please Read entirely. Signing up for a course Does not guarantee you will pass. You must demonstrate safe firearm handling, pass a shooting qualification of 70% or better and pass a written test. Prerequisite: 

This is not a beginner course. Students must be able to show that they can safely manipulate and fire a handgun. Careless/unsafe gun handling is not acceptable and will be cause for removal from the class/range with no refund

  • Firearm(s) must be registered in your name.

  • No pregnant women (for babies safety).

  • No spectators allowed.

  • No pets allowed.

  • No SPECTATORS ALLOWED

  • If you are a felon, you are not permitted in the class room nor on the range for any reason or may you be in possession of a firearm under Federal Law.

  • Demonstration of safe firearms handling skills.
  • Live fire of authorized firearm(s)
  • Firearms and ammo are to be left in your vehicle (for range day) until instructed to retrieve.
  • De-scalation Techniques.
  • Places you can and can not carry (California and federal laws)
  • Criminal and Civil laws and penalty.
  • Traffic stops while caring a concealed firearm.
  • What to do after a shooting (recommendations).
  • How to interact with Law Enforcement after a shooting.
  • CCW Preparedness (recommendations)
  • For class session, bring your firearms and a holster with good retention for each firearm you want to qualify (holster not required for LAPD, LASD) with for inspection and keep them in your vehicle until instructed to retrieve them. DO NOT bring any ammunition to class).

  • Certificate (upon successful completion of the course) to submit to the police department you applied for your CCW permit.

  • For FL and AZ CCW, you will receive a different certificate which meets the requirements for that particular states CCW training (this is a add-on course and NOT included).

  • Range fee (initial qualification)

  • Lane fee

  • Range instruction

  • Range Day (what to wear) Close-toed Shoes (no flip flops or sandals).  long Pants (no shorts or tank tops)

  • YOU MUST pass the written test and the range qualification.

  • Eyes & ear protection (at the range to use if you do not have your own)

  • Target(s)

  • Current and valid Drivers License or Identification card.

  • List of firearms (make, model, serial number)

  • YOU MUST pass the written test, the range qualification, and demonstrate safe firearm handling and know how your firearm works in order to pass, no exemptions.

  • Wealth of knowledge 

  • Firearm(s).

  • Ammunition - At least 80 rounds for 1st firearm and 30 rounds for each additional qualifying firearm. 

All ammunition must be full metal jacket (New). No Wolf, WPA or Tula ammunition allowed. YOU NEED to score at the range at least 70% to pass.

  • 2 extra Magazines or speed loaders

  • Eye & Ear Protection

  • Good Holster with retention, THIS IS REQUIREMENT SET FORTH BY THE DEPARTMENTS. (Kydex preferred). NO flimsy or SERPA holsters. (not mandated by LAPD or LASD)

Your course fee includes only the first range session. If you do not pass, you can reschedule for the next class (range fee applies) or book a private session for faster qualification.

Cancellation Policy

  • No cancellations allowed.

  • One reschedule only, requested 72+ hours before your class start time.
    If you’re unsure of your schedule, please wait to register.

  • No call no show, must register for a new class and pay new course fee. No exception.
